LeadCatcher provides a done-for-you automated SMS response system for Canadian local service businesses. When a customer calls a business that uses LeadCatcher and their call goes unanswered, they receive an automatic SMS response on behalf of that business within 60 seconds.
This page describes how that SMS program works, who sends the messages, and how recipients can opt out at any time.
You receive an SMS because you placed a call to a local business that uses the LeadCatcher system and your call was not answered. The SMS is a direct response to your call, sent on behalf of that business.
By placing a call to the business, you have initiated contact and may receive an automated SMS response. No personal information is collected beyond your phone number as captured by the call itself.
You can stop receiving messages at any time by replying to any message with one of the following words:
STOP ARRET CANCEL UNSUBSCRIBE
Once you reply with any of these words, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent to your number from that business's LeadCatcher number.
Reply HELP to any message to receive contact information for the business that sent you the message.
